University donates medical supplies to Cameron Hospital

With in-person classes canceled for the rest of the semester, Trine University’s Fort Wayne Center for Health Sciences donated supplies to Cameron Memorial Community Hospital to help Steuben County medical professionals protect themselves during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

University staff delivered more than 150 gowns, 20 boxes of masks, 25 boxes of sterile gloves and 80 boxes of non-sterile gloves to the hospital on March 24. Trine’s Fort Wayne Center for Health Sciences is home to the university’s medical professional programs, including the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology degrees.
