Trine University students packed more than 400 lunches at the PBJ-A-Thon on Jan. 16 for distribution the next day at the Timothy L. Johnson Leadership Academy in Fort Wayne.
About 40 students made and packed the lunches in the Whitney Dining Commons. Trine cheerleaders and Storm delivered the lunches to the school on Jan. 17.
The event was part of Trine's Month of Service activities. The Timothy L. Johnson Leadership Academy is chartered by Education One, Trine's charter school authorization body.

Two Trine University alumni were recently named to the fifth annual Rising 30 class, recognizing outstanding young professionals making significant early-career contributions to Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) sectors.
While many professors would frown on students playing games during class, it was encouraged in one Trine University course this past spring.
Katie Sloneker was a high-achieving student at Trine University, helping take the women’s basketball team to the NCAA Division III Final Four, double-majoring and earning her MBA, working in the Admission Office and being part of Ehinger Fellows.
