In the newest episode of Trine University’s Center for Sports Studies podcast, a staff member from the National Football League’s Corporate Office talks about diversity, equity and inclusion programs in professional sports.
Center director Brandon Podgorski interviews Grant Floto of the NFL’s Junior Rotational Program, who works as an analyst in diversity, equity and inclusion with the NFL. The podcast covers Floto’s path to the NFL Corporate Office and how professional leagues are using their diversity, equity and inclusion programs in talent acquisition, marketing and community relations.
Produced through the Trine Broadcasting Network, the Trine Center for Sports Studies is a bi-weekly podcast focused on the business side of sports, including interviews with sports professionals and current research in sports studies. Trine University Theatre will present a free matinee of “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” to local school groups and homeschool students grades K-5 in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts beginning at noon on April 3.
The 65th annual Northeastern Indiana Tri-State Regional Science Fair, hosted by Trine University on March 15, drew projects representing all areas of science from northeast Indiana elementary, middle and high school students.
More than 40 Trine University faculty participated at the 28th annual Fort Wayne Teaching and Learning Conference, with four presenting sessions and Jeremy Rentz, Ph.D., Schantz Distinguished Professor in the Allen School of Engineering and Computing, serving as plenary speaker.
