The newest episode of Trine University’s Center for Sports Studies podcast focuses on marketing, with Grayson Allen, sales and hiring coordinator at Peak Sports Management (PSM), sharing how he was able
to leverage an internship with the company into a full-time job after graduating college.
Peak Sports Management works with mid-major and NCAA Division II colleges around the United States to provide sales and marketing support for their athletic departments. In his role, Allen is responsible for recruiting and onboarding interns and new account representatives for all of the PSM properties.
Produced through the Trine Broadcasting Network, the Trine Center for Sports Studies podcast focuses on the business side of sports, including interviews with sports professionals and current research in sports studies. Mitch Daniels, former governor of the state of Indiana and former president of Purdue University, shared advice with graduates he said were entering a world he described as “the most promising and most uncertain and treacherous” as Trine University held Commencement ceremonies on May 2.
Trine University’s annual Trine Day, a celebration of the university as well as an opportunity to support its mission, set records for number of donors and funds raised, bringing in more than $160,000 for scholarships, academic and athletic needs, and student organizations.
Trine University students learned about opportunities available with the Purdue Data Mine during a special presentation on April 10 in the Mark and Sarah Music/Ruoff Mortgage Esports Arena.
