Ethan Flynn has made it his life’s purpose to help people conquer their limitations
and reach their goals. His passion has led him to opening and owning his own physical
therapy clinic, called Revival, in his hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Less than a year after completing Trine’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Flynn
was ready for his next challenge. He saw a growth opportunity for a clinic in the
area. He convinced his wife to make the move south to seize the chance and have the
freedom to practice in his own way.
This opportunity has not come without obstacles. As a driven, fast-paced individual,
he has had to be reminded to take one day at a time to complete the process. He faced
rejection, which he said, “can be discouraging, but it is rewarding when people buy
into it.”
Flynn’s mission to empower his clients is evident from the clinic’s name.
“I wanted my company to revive my clients from a life full of limitation and pain.
Revive means to restore or regain life and strength. That is exactly what I am doing
with each client I work with,” declared Flynn.
When faced with choosing a graduate school, Flynn chose Trine for its modern medicine
practices and family atmosphere. He immediately felt at home as he reflected on his
first visit, remarking, “I had a gut feeling I wasn’t just going to be a student;
I was going to be a part of the Trine family.”
Academically, Flynn noticed the up-to-date, innovative education Trine provides. He
felt modern medicine practices would best shape him to serve patients and help them
achieve their goals.
In his time at Trine, Flynn was prepared for the future and felt ahead of the game
when completing clinical rotations with students one or two years ahead of him. He
felt that Trine prepared him in every aspect of how to be a professional business
owner and a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
He stated, “I was more than prepared to take and pass the boards as well as calmly
and confidentially interview for jobs.”
Flynn doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. He aims to be the best dad and husband
he can be to his wife, Lindsey, and two newborn twin sons, Archie and Trace, while
making a massive impact on the lives of his patients, one person, one day at a time.
