Successful students from community colleges and other accredited institutions who want to continue their education can now receive guaranteed admission to Trine University's Angola campus programs.
Trine’s new Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program (GTAP) ensures admission to the university for students who have completed an associate degree or at least 24 transferable credit hours from an accredited institution while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Students also must have completed coursework equivalent to Trine University's general education core requirements and have maintained good academic and disciplinary standing.
“Students who have already excelled at the community college level benefit greatly from the additional career and educational opportunities provided by earning a bachelor’s degree,” said Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment management at Trine. “This initiative provides a clear, assured pathway to affordable, high-quality education and advanced degree completion at Trine.”
In addition to guaranteed admission, GTAP offers seamless transfer of up to 90 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree at Trine, personalized academic advising, and access to Trine's generous scholarship opportunities, including merit-based awards for transfer students up to $20,000 per year.
