1. Caps and Gowns

Call the Bookstore immediately at 260.665.4153 if you have not yet purchased your cap and gown.

Caps and gowns are navy. The charge for the cap, gown, and tassel for undergraduate students is $44.94. The charge for graduate students is $80.25 which includes the cap, gown, tassel, and hood. They are yours to keep.
 

  • The DPT program is coordinating caps, gowns and hoods for the DPT students.


2. Honors Day – Undergraduate Students

When: May 2
Time: 4:30 p.m.
Where: T. Furth Center for Performing Arts

Students should arrive 30 minutes early to line up for the Honors Day processional. For undergraduate students, Latin Honors and Academic Honors will be printed in the Honors Day program based on your standing after the first 8 week session of the 2018-2019 spring semester. If your academic status changes from that printed in the program, your diploma will be printed with the correct recognition.

3. Hooding Ceremony – DPT and Graduate Students

When: May 2
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: T. Furth Center for Performing Arts

Students participating in the hooding ceremony should arrive 30 minutes early, dressed in cap and gown and bring their hoods, to line up for the processional. Name cards will show your place in line for the procession.


4. Commencement Practice

When: Friday, May 3
Time: 4:30 p.m.
Where: Ketner Sports Center in Hershey Hall, main campus


5. Senior Celebration

When: Friday, May 3
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Where: Hershey Hall, main gym

Senior Celebration is for graduating students and guests. This evening included delicious food, music and a cash bar. Casual attire is encouraged. Reservations are required. Please make your reservations by Friday, April 26. Call 260.665.4282 or email vanwagnerr@trine.edu


6. Commencement 2019

When: Saturday, May 4
Time: 10 a.m.
Where: Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athletic and Recreation Center (ARC)

Doors open for guest seating at 8:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to come early, as the main entrance doors will be closed from 9:45 a.m. until the procession has concluded.

Graduates participating in the commencement ceremony should arrive by 9 a.m. at Ketner Sports Center in Hershey Hall. CGPS graduation participants should plan to arrive at Ketner Sports Center in Hershey Hall at 8:45 a.m. for campus group photos. 


7. Diploma Distribution

Diplomas will be issued to students upon completion of their degree requirements and after all financial obligations have been met. Diplomas cannot be issued to students with "I" or "IP" grades on their records.

  • Fall '18 graduates: You should have received your diploma. If not, main campus graduates should check with the Office of the Registrar.
  • Spring '19 graduates: Main campus graduates may pick up their diploma on Tuesday, May 7, between 1 and 5 p.m. in the Office of the Registrar. Diplomas that are not picked up will be mailed.
  • Summer and fall '19 graduates: You will receive your diploma after you have completed your final semester.
  • CGPS, Master's and DPT degree graduates: Diplomas will be mailed after your final term.


8. Transcripts

You can request a transcript online. There is a $5 charge per transcript.
