A lover of inquiry and knowledge, I spend most of my free time reading and thinking about strategy and planning to improve best practices in industry. I enjoy reading everything from the canon to the newspaper in order to give appreciation to the arts while staying current on today’s events.

Having spent nearly 20 years in K-20 education, I enjoy learning and leading alongside students. Juxtaposing the art of writing, reading, inquiry, and thought, I hope to provide a unique approach to learning for my students at Trine University. The last three years have been spent leading a national non-profit. These experiences allow me to bring real world problems and experiences into the classroom as a supplement to the materials and activities in class.

When not teaching, I spend my time with my son who is a freshman at Trine and my daughter who is in 8th grade. We also have a couple furry friends who keep us busy.

In service to my profession, I am part of the Women’s Business Council of NE Indiana, a Rotarian, and a chamber member.
