All dual enrollment students at Trine University receive a student account upon registration.
This account provides access to essential university systems, including:
Email and Account Sign in: Each student is assigned a Trine email account, which is the primary method of communication
from instructors and the university.
MyPortal: The main hub for course schedules, grades, unofficial transcripts, and important
announcements.
Moodle: The learning management system where students access course materials, submit assignments,
and communicate with instructors.
Students will receive an email with login credentials and instructions 24 hours after
registering for their first course. It’s important to sign in and check your Trine
email regularly to stay up to date on course information and university updates. If
you have trouble accessing your account, contact Trine IT Services at help@trine.edu or 260-665-4275.

email you provided. If you did not receive the email, you can watch this instructional video to help you sign in.
Suggestion - download the Outlook app. This will allow you to get notifications when
your professor emails you or if an announcement is posted in Moodle.
MyPortal
MyPortal is Trine online student hub. Dual enrollment students use it to:
Already enrolled in a course or two,make sure you order the required textbooks and
materials by watching the How-To Search for Textbooks video then heading over to the Trine Bookstore by clicking on the Bookstore icon
to the right to purchase what you need.
Moodle
Moodle is Trine's learning management system where students access course materials, submit
assignments, and communicate with instructors.
You will not see your courses until the Friday before the course starts.
Trine Bookstore
Some courses require a textbook and/or third-party sites. You can find the course
requirements by visiting the Trine Bookstore. For more information on how to navigate the site, please watch the How-To Search for Textbooks video.
Make a Payment
Course bills will be sent in the mail, addressed to you, the student. Fall bills will
be sent out at the beginning of October, and spring bills will be sent out at the
