The Trine University Art Club hosted their 2nd Annual Art Gallery Walk in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 5-7 p.m. The event was a CHAT Credit for students and open to the public.

This year there were 26 submissions from 11 artists. These artists include Areeba Kazi, Maurice Ehichioya, Taylor Currier, Novalea Boots, Jamie Le, Allison Miller, Ayana Mei, Scarlet Elliot, Natalie Frederickson Crowner, Kylie Dunlap and one student who submitted work anonymously. These artists come from departments across Trine’s campus.

The pieces ranged in medium including pencil, paint, crochet, collage and even sewing.  The pieces were marked with an artist’s statement, the medium used and the name of the artist. A comment box accompanied each piece, welcoming guests to leave comments for the artists to look at after the conclusion of the event.

Attendees were able to come browse art, talk with the artists and enjoy a charcuterie board with lemonade which was prepared by Bon Appetit. The relaxing atmosphere was marked with music to guide patrons through the gallery at their own pace. This was the perfect place for students to exhibit their hard work as well as for others to enjoy these creations.
