
Trine promotes 8 faculty
The Trine University Board of Trustees recently approved the promotion of eight university faculty members.

John Liu, Ph.D., assistant professor in Trine University’s Wade Department of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering, has earned certification as a FANUC robotics instructor
after a year of training and examinations.
As a result, the university is now a FANUC-certified education training facility. Students in Liu’s courses and anyone partnering with the university will have the opportunity to earn FANUC robotics operator certification by passing the appropriate exams.
