Trine professor certified as robotics instructor

LiuJohn Liu, Ph.D., assistant professor in Trine University’s Wade Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, has earned certification as a FANUC robotics instructor after a year of training and examinations.

As a result, the university is now a FANUC-certified education training facility. Students in Liu’s courses and anyone partnering with the university will have the opportunity to earn FANUC robotics operator certification by passing the appropriate exams.
