John Liu, Ph.D., assistant professor in Trine University’s Wade Department of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering, has earned certification as a FANUC robotics instructor
after a year of training and examinations.
As a result, the university is now a FANUC-certified education training facility. Students in Liu’s courses and anyone partnering with the university will have the opportunity to earn FANUC robotics operator certification by passing the appropriate exams.

Trine University has received approval from the Indiana State Board of Nursing to offer its Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program at its Brooks College of Health Professions facility.
J. Chris Carroll, Ph.D., PE, a distinguished educator and experienced academic leader, will join Trine University as dean of its Allen School of Engineering and Computing, effective July 1.
