Surgical Technology Admission Process

  1. Complete an application for admission to the program.
    Included in the application, the candidate must complete a brief essay describing his/her interest in a career in surgical technology.
  1. Send official transcripts
    Request your high school and any community college or university transcript(s) to:

  2. Personal interview
    Candidates will be contacted for an Interview with a Trine University Surgical Technology Director.
  3. Complete the FAFSA  
    To be eligible for every financial aid opportunity.  Trine’s school code for FAFSA is 001839.  Apply online at fafsa.ed.gov. Visit our financial aid pages for more information. 
  4. Admission to the program
    Once admitted to Surgical Technology Program, a formal letter will be sent to the applicant.
  5. Enrollment Deposit
    To secure a space in the next fall cohort, the admitted student must submit a $250 enrollment deposit that will be applied toward your first semester tuition bill (non-refundable after May 1st).
