Student Account Information

Dual Enrollment Account Information

All dual enrollment students at Trine University receive a student account after registering for their first course. Login credentials and setup instructions are typically sent within 24 hours of registration.

Your student account provides access to important university systems, including Trine email, myPortal and Moodle. Students should check their Trine email regularly, as all course communication and university updates will be sent there.

If you experience issues accessing your account, please contact Trine IT Services at help@trine.edu or 260.665.4275.

Email and Account Information

Students will receive an email with login credentials within 24 hours of registering for their first course. Your Trine email account will be created using the email address provided during registration.

If you do not receive the email with your account information, please watch the instructional video for assistance with signing in.

We also recommend downloading the Outlook app on your phone or device. This allows you to receive notifications when your professor sends an email or when announcements are posted in Moodle.

MyPortal

MyPortal is Trine's online student hub. Dual enrollment students use it to:

  • Search for available courses - Home Tab

  • View class schedules - Student Tab - Student Account
  • Check final grades - Student Tab - Student Account
  • Access unofficial transcripts - Student Tab - Student Account

Moodle

Moodle is Trine University’s learning management system where students access course materials, submit assignments, complete coursework and communicate with instructors.

Please note that courses will not appear in Moodle until the Friday before the course start date.
