Student Spotlight - Riley Piehl

Riley Piehl, a junior majoring in communication with a minor in marketing, has a remarkable commitment to academics and extracurricular involvement. Piehl assumes multiple leadership roles within campus clubs.

Piehl also integrates her academic pursuits into her extracurricular activities, utilizing her communication skills in her management of social media accounts, designing logos, and craft compelling advertisements.

She leverages her passion for photography as a student alongside Hannah Gaerte, the Sports Information Media Specialist at Trine.

This is an experience that has catalyzed the establishment of Piehl’s own successful photography business.

Even during summer months, Piehl fulfills responsibilities as both a SOAR leader and orientation leader on campus. Her achievements extend beyond the campus borders, with her work being featured in local newspapers and showcased across campus.

“I am extremely hard working and love to have a full plate,” said Piehl. “Trine has given me so many opportunities and I have found my passion within that. I am grateful because my experiences here have already gotten me so far,”.
