Japan Study Abroad Program Application for Engineers

Looking for an engineering project over the summer? This two-month study abroad program is hosted by Teikyo University, allowing Trine students to do research in your respective engineering focus. Teikyo University, known for its engineering programs, is a public institution located in the city of Utsunomiya, the capital of Tochigi Prefecture, which lies 75 kilometers north of Tokyo. Explore Japan, and experience engineering at another level!
Details:
- $1950 program fee + your flight ticket (estimated at $1000-$1,800). Program fee includes transportation from/to Narita airport, courses, programs, accommodations, site visit, and on-campus dorm. (Meals are separate.)
- Courses include:
- Research with Teikyo graduate department (in English) of your engineering focus.
- Japanese Language and Culture Classes: Basic Japanese conversation, history, exploring the urban and rural sites of Tochigi.
- Six credits toward your Trine degree (3 toward engineering, 3 toward humanities).
