Power Skating and Over Speed Camp

July 8-15, 2019
8:00 am to 4:15 pm 
Ages: 7-18 (players will be separated based on age and skill)
Ice Time: 3 hours a day
Cost: $375+

Power skating coach John Salway will run skaters through progressions on stride execution, edge control and transitions. Skaters also will receive over speed training from Kaleigh Schrock, the youth program director. This training will improve your skater’s acceleration, give him or her confidence performing hockey skills at a faster pace, and improve speed with the puck.

Off-ice activities include:

  • Baseline FMS screening
  • YMCA pool day
  • Off ice games
    • MTI Center – basketball, tennis, bowling
  • Lunch

Battle/Compete & Esports Gaming Camp

July 15-19, 2019 (overnight and day option)
8:00 am to 4:15 pm (day campers)
Ages: 7-18 (Players will be separated based on age and skill)
Ice Time: 4 hours a day
Cost: $595 overnight, $375 day+

If your child loves competing on the ice and enjoys video games, this camp is for you! Skaters will experience high-pressure drills and small area games. All players will be taught how to win 50/50 pucks, how to control the puck under pressure, how to angle properly and how to battle along the boards. Players 11 years of age and older will perform checking drills on the ice. All players in camp will do off-ice body contact drills to get them more comfortable with contact on the ice. Body Contact (10U) & Checking Drills (11+)

Overnight campers will get to experience our esports arena. We will host tournaments in NHL, Rocket League, and other sports games. Prizes will be available for tournament winners. Players 13+ (with a parent waiver) can compete against each other on the Trine servers in Fortnight. Players will need to a bring a controller for either their X-Box or PS4.

Off-ice activities include:

Puck Skills and Games Camp

July 22-26, 2019
8:00 am to 4:15 pm 
Ages: 7-18 (Players will be separated based on age and skill)
Ice Time: 3 hours a day
Cost: $375+

In the morning sessions, players will get instruction on passing, shooting and stickhandling. Your skater’s confidence with the puck will improve as well as his or her ability to control the puck with keeping head and eyes up. Afternoon sessions will include small area games, half ice games and full ice games implementing hockey concepts and skills worked on in the morning sessions. Regroup games (breakouts), transition games (odd-man rushes), odd-man games, (power play and penalty kill) will all be used to teach important concepts your player can use on any team.

    • MTI Center – basketball, tennis, bowling

Superior Skills Hockey Schools

July 28 - August 2, 2019 (overnight and day option)
8:00 am to 4:15 pm (day campers)
Cost: $395 day/ $595 night++

Camp Counselors: college hockey players

The week will be made up of skill and battle drills, plus a dedicated goalie instructor. We will have two daily on ice sessions and two off ice sessions.

Performance Camp – Goalies, Inc.

August 3-4, 2019

Each Goalies, Inc. camp is broken into four ice sessions. Each session focuses on a logistical system of skills which are taught in progressions, so our students learn how to efficient decisions during all game situations. Our instructors place a high priority on individual attention and giving each student the 1:1 time that is vital to their development. Each session is designed to be intense and multiple students are involved in each drill, leaving very little on-ice downtime. The end result is a significant development experience that is unmatched in the industry.
