Science Fair

What do judges look for?

The Science Fair is an educational experience as well as a contest, and the interview with the judge is an important part of this experience. The decision of the judges will be final.

Criteria for judging include scientific thought, originality, thoroughness, technical skill, and clarity.  A more extensive listing of these criteria may be obtained from the School Coordinator or the Regional Director. Use the Overview Wizard  to help you determine what forms and approvals are necessary before beginning a science fair project.

For projects in grades 4 - 12 - State Fair will not be using TheCN.com for 2025.
