Writer's Block Club

The Writer’s Block club was founded in Spring 2022 and has remained successful as more students have joined in recent semesters. The Writer’s Block puts out a digital publication every fall semester and a physical publication every spring semester. The goal of Writer’s Block is to encourage and inspire writers to create and spread their work. The publications also give students the opportunity to show off their work anonymously or with their name attached.

Members of the Writer’s Block club have the opportunity to read different pieces from writers that submitted their work and submit work themselves. Additionally, members can assist in event planning and coordination as well as social media and marketing ideas. Members truly enjoy experiencing new pieces for the publication whether that be through photography, poetry, or short stories.

Editor in Chief Kaci McComis stated, “We are very excited for our digital publication and there are some extremely unique pieces that readers will get to enjoy.”
