TRINE UNIVERSITY HOSTS ART SHOW

There will be an art show in the Furth Center with an opening event on November 10, 2021

[ANGOLA, INDIANA] On November 10, Trine University will be hosting an art show that will consist of Trine student and professor artwork. This will be the first formal art show Trine has had since 2017 and is an opportunity to showcase the artistic ability of what is considered an engineering school.

Maurice Ehichioya, a member of the group planning this show, said: “It is amazing to be able to see the artistic side of the student body and faculty and have them show it off to the school and city. “

This show is a product of the Trine University course Event Planning and Promotion. Five students, under the guidance of Professor Zimmer, have planned this event over the course of a semester. We hope you come to see their plan become reality, and the artist's work on Wednesday.

The opening celebration will be held at the T. Furth Center on campus from 5:30-8:00P.M. The event is sponsored by Bon Appetite, as well as the Humanities Institute. At the opening, there will be drinks and snacks, as well as the opportunity to talk to several of the artists in person.
